The upcoming international conference at BFR, the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment entirely dedicated to alternative protein sources will occur in December 2024, in Berlin from 3 to 5 December.
The International Conference on ‘Alternative Proteins for Food and Feed’ will apply a holistic approach by addressing 3 thematic clusters, mainly Regulatory framework/process (Safety, Nutrition, Legal status), Sustainability (Life-cycle assessment, Production) and Consumer acceptance /socio-economic aspects (Product properties, risk-benefit perception).
