FSOLab3 Online Workshop – 01-02 September 2021

FSOLab3 – workshop 1 took place during 1-2 September and it was conducted by Dr. Denisa Duta (IBA Bucharest) and facilitated by BiancaMaria Ciasco (CNR).

The main goal of FSOLab3 – a series of 3 separate workshops- is to develop Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) in Food Safety addressing the fragmentation of the Food Safety Stakeholders, policy priorities and emerging technologies.

During the first workshop of FSOLab3, the group of experts analyzed the existing Research and Innovation Strategies, Research Programmes, Implementation Plans (provided draft) related to food safety areas, identified gaps and improved the approaching of food safety in a systematic way and identified two pilot ideas in the Food Safety sector to achieve a coherent SRIA.

The workshop was based on a creative interaction between almost 20 participants, all of them have valuable experience in Food Safety areas who voted among the challenges and R&D directions for the future.
