WORKSHOP: Do we really know what is communication effectiveness?

This workshop has the objective to support the development of best practices and guidelines in communication, through exchange experiences. Risk communication responses to societal concerns related to emerging risks and transparency of Risk Assessment.

In addition to the construction and deconstruction of the concept of “Effectiveness Communication”, we intend to evaluate the process and the content in an interactive way with the stakeholders and engaging the audience. What is evidence? What is or is not Effectiveness Communication?

Finally, the collected insights will help to develop user-friendly toolkits targeted to different audiences (for example, summaries for general interest) and define methods to improve the public engagement while feeding a continued public-researcher interaction in the Food Safety System.
