Food 2030 Research & Innovation – Pathways for Action 2.0
The EC report sets out the 11 pathways where food systems research & innovation can deliver co-benefits for nutrition, climate, circularity and communities, shaping a holistic and sustainable food future.
This update is set within an evolving policy context affected by geopolitical uncertainties and is based on the previous version (released in October 2021), which defined Food 2030 as the EU research and innovation (R&I) policy framework to help drive the transition towards sustainable, healthy and inclusive food systems.
The Food 2030 pathways are being deployed via Horizon Europe, the EU’s framework programme for R&I (2021–2027)
