ECHA & EFSA

Food Safety current and future challenges call for Inter Agency cooperation to deliver comprehensive scientific evidence to the decision makers.
Together with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), EFSA is working on an independent scientific assessment: indeed, while ECHA is assessing potential hazards, EFSA is focusing is work on Risk Assessment (i.e. including exposure).
In September, a public consultation will be launched and the results of the peer review will be published in 2021.
