Call for abstracts: Youngs acting for the future of Food Safety in EU session @EU FOOD SAFETY FORUM 2025

The EU FOOD SAFETY PLATFORM announces the launch of our third call for abstracts aiming to highlight research and innovative ideas from emerging researchers and young professionals in the field of food safety.

We invite young researchers to submit abstracts showcasing their groundbreaking work in food safety during the
EU FOOD SAFETY FORUM 2025.

For your inspiration, check out check-out the posters from past editions 2023-2024 in the Youths&Update section of the Knowledge Center.

Only 6 best submissions will be awarded and featured on our platform: 

• The authors will have a 5-minute pitch presenting the selected abstracts on the stage of our EU FOOD SAFETY FORUM on December 3, 2025, in Rome; 

• The awarded posters will be showcased at the Forum venue;   

• The awarded posters will be published in the EU FOOD SAFETY PLATFORM dedicated session; 

• Three selected authors will present their ideas by participating in the podcast series: “Young Minds of Food Safety” powered by our platform member LVA.
• The winners podcasts will be and disseminated via Social Media and YouTube Channels. 

Gender balance and equal opportunities are core values of our initiative. We strongly encourage submissions from underrepresented groups in the field.
