Call for Abstract: Youngs acting for the future of Food Safety in EU

The EU FOOD SAFETY PLATFORM announces the winners of the third call for abstracts for the Youth Session at the EU FOOD SAFETY FORUM 2025 aiming to highlight innovative research and ideas from emerging researchers and professionals in the field of food safety.

Awards & Opportunities for Young Researchers

• Live Pitch Session: Selected young researchers will present their abstracts in a 5-minute pitch on stage during our EU FOOD SAFETY FORUM on December 3, 2025, in Rome in front of leading food safety experts and stakeholders.
  
  
  
• Best Pitch Prize: the author with the most outstanding pitch, as voted live by the Forum audience, will receive a €500 award, courtesy of the Food Safety and Risk Journal
  
  
  
• From Pitch to Podcast series spotlight: Three authors and their pitches will be selected for the podcast series: “Young Minds of Food Safety” powered by our platform member LVA. The selected pitches will be featured and widely disseminated across our Social Media and YouTube Channels, reaching a broad audience and amplifying the voices of emerging leaders in food safety.
  
  
  
• Poster showcase: All selected posters will be displayed at the Forum venue throughout the event, providing further exposure to participants and guests.
  
  
  
• Publication opportunity: Posters will be published digitally in the dedicated session repository of the EU FOOD SAFETY PLATFORM, ensuring ongoing visibility within the European food safety community.
